I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
